Choosing The Right Skirt Length For Your Body Type
Finding the right skirt length for your body type is an important element of looking your best. Different body types are suited to different styles of skirt. No matter what your bust size, height, weight, and your general measurements, there is a skirt that looks best on you. The important thing to remember is to choose a fabric that looks and feels good. Wearing the right clothing makes you not only look good, but also feel good too. Knowing your body type is the best way to make sure you wear skirt that fit correctly.
If you have boyish body type, straight up and down, you may consider a skirt that will help you create body curves: A-Line or knife pleat skirts. For tall body type, a ruffled skirt works best for you.
If you have curvy body type, you may consider a skirt that is going to overpower your frame. You need a skirt that will give you a nice shape and drawing attention away from anything you don’t like about your hips and thighs.
If you have a large tummy, consider elasticized waistbands that are smooth in front and elasticized behind, for example, A-line skirt.
If you have long legs, consider layered skirts. Mini skirts will make your legs look even longer. But, if you have short legs, consider short skirts.
One of my favorite skirt is Phillip Lim skirt. It has a paperbag waist, belt loops, a zip fastening on side and falls above the knee.
