Good design… I like light background for diamond site. Usually, diamond have different colour. Therefore, I think light background is good for it.

Really like the site above – I’ve noticed a lot more jewellery companies are moving away from the clean white/pale background recently, opting instead for the more luxurious darker themes. I personally that this a much better direction to go – jewellery can be an expensive purchase for ecommerce and without the tactility of physical interaction with the product I’m sure sites loose customers for this reason. Bringing the luxury aspect back into the purchasing process with inovative design and Hi Res imagary and zoom functions not only helps the look and feel of the sites but also the conversion of site traffic to purchases.
